We collect the email address associated with your account to deliver API keys and account-related messages. Billing information is handled securely by Stripe; we do not store your full payment card details. We may collect usage and technical data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. API keys are stored in hashed form.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provision and manage API access, process subscription payments through Stripe, operate and protect Scout, and send transactional emails such as API key delivery and account or billing notices.
3. Data Security
We use HTTPS to protect information in transit, encrypted databases to protect stored information, and hashed API keys rather than storing usable keys in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take these measures to help protect your information.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed with trusted providers that help us operate Scout, such as Stripe for payment processing and Resend for transactional email delivery.
